Halloween Inspiration

We have all seen the Buzzfeed articles about Halloween ideas but I always find inspiration lacking every year.  Red Riding Hood or vampire is my default because I have a red cape or body glitter, toga and voila! Greek goddess in under five minutes.  Yet this year I am fresh out of ideas and want to try something new…

Lust List:

Face Lace

Lace Cape

Splashing out on some shoulder bling  (add some red or black lips on an all black outfit for a vamp or witch).

This incredible jumpsuit.

A skeleton hand, much cheaper than the shoulder harness and looks better!

I like this for the whole look, Madonna meets Gaga ‘Judas’. Again I like this for the whole look, a subtler day of the dead look. Definitely liking NastyGal’s  Dark Romance  Gothic/Baroque/vamp inspiration.

Film Inspiration: Cruella De Vil, Clockwork Orange, Tim Burton, Nightmare before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, Addams Family Munsters, Red Riding Hood (with her wolf/huntsman for couples)

Cupcakes and Cashmere has great interior design ideas – you can’t go wrong with skulls, cobwebs and candles but Emily Schuman knows how to work crows and pumpkins.

My flat is also full of real spiders so our ‘spooky spiders’ are, unfortunately, real.
