1. Dulwich Picture Gallery to House a Fake
ArtNews reported on the latest and most unusual installation at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in South London. American artist Doug Fishbone is working on a new project titled Made in China, which will see a forgery of a picture from the collection installed. It will be up to viewers to spot the fake:
Executed by Xiamen, a China-based company specialized in oil painting, the copy will be swapped in for the original and hang in its place from February 3 to July 26, 2015. Members of the public will be invited to guess which painting isn’t the real deal.

2. Farmer to Tweet Life on Farm
Southern Ontario diary farmer Andrew Campbell has undertaken an interested online photography project — starting on the 1st of January, he’s endeavoured to snap a photo a day for the next year of everyday life on his dairy farm. He told CBC:
People are so interested now in where their food comes from today. I think one of the things missing from the conversation is how is that food produced? I hope people get a better understanding for all those things that do happen on the farm and go toward producing food.

3. Bored Office Workers Recreate Masterpieces
Fools Do Art is an idea born out of boredom between two colleagues: Francesco Fragomeni and Chris Limbrick. It’s an ongoing art project which is being documented on Tumblr with regular updates. 4. MoMA to Sell Monet at Sotheby’s
In support of MoMA’s education department, Les Peupliers à Giverny by Claude Monet is about to hit the auction block at the Impressionist & Modern Evening Sale next month at Sotheby’s London. Carrying a pre-sale estimate of $13.8–18.4 million, it is one of five paintings by Monet on the block at Sotheby’s on February 3 and sure to garner a lot of attention. 5. W Previews Shooting Stars Exhibition
Open now until the 22nd of February, Shooting Stars is an exhibition mounted at Wilshire May Company Building in LA featuring the most memorable portraits from W magazine. Photographers such as David Fincher, Urs Fischer and Steven Klein have work mounted featuring some of the brightest stars: Jessica Chastain (above), Keria Knightley and Pharrel Williams.
